The Motorcycle Safety Foundation is a national, not-for-profit organization, founded in 1973, and sponsored by the U.S. manufacturers and distributors of BMW, BRP, Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki, KTM, Piaggio/Vespa, Suzuki, Triumph, Indian Motorcycles and Yamaha motorcycles.

Free Cycle Rider Safety Training Program (CRSTP) classes are offered for beginning and experienced riders at more than 50 locations in Illinois.
